Security is Personal. Meet the Architect Behind Iridium.

My name is Louie Maldonado, and I founded Iridium Secure Solutions with a simple belief: Small businesses deserve the same level of protection as the Fortune 500, without the bureaucracy.

As the Principal Security Architect based in Franklin Park, I don’t just manage tickets; I manage resilience. In an industry full of faceless call centers and remote helpdesks, I offer something different: Executive-Level Accountability.

I hold a Master of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance, giving me the deep strategic background to handle complex compliance frameworks that most general IT providers simply can't touch. When you work with Iridium, you aren't getting a junior technician guessing at your safety—you are partnering with a qualified expert committed to protecting your legacy.

Built on Resilience

The name "Iridium" was chosen carefully. It is one of the most dense, corrosion-resistant elements on earth. That is exactly how I approach your infrastructure.

My philosophy is rooted in a Stoic mindset: Focus on what we can control. We cannot control when hackers will attack, but we can absolutely control how prepared we are to withstand them. I build systems designed to take a hit and keep running, ensuring that even on your worst day, your business remains standing.

Certified & Local

I am proud to lead a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) certified by the State of Illinois. Iridium is deeply rooted in the Cook County community. Whether I am securing a local non-profit or hardening a medical practice against ransomware, my goal is to ensure Illinois businesses thrive.

When I’m Not Fighting Ransomware...

I believe that to protect life, you have to enjoy it. When I step away from the keyboard, I’m usually getting my hands dirty working on my 2012 Subaru Impreza (a true labor of love), perfecting a recipe in the kitchen, or staying active at the gym.

I’m also a proud pet parent to Kaiba (the ragdoll who thinks he runs the business) and Yugi (my Shiba Inu).

I live here, I work here, and I care about seeing your business succeed.
